'Oscar No. 1' is inspired by the Christian Dior/John Galliano couture gown worn at the 2006 Oscars award ceremony. Crafted from and fully lined by high quality green satin fabric, this elegant form-fitting gown places very heavy emphasis on pattern work. Special characteristics of this gown include the double straps that begin at the back of the bodice, cross over at the front, and later becomes a part of the dress. Only with precise pattern work can the geometric motifs of the gown, such as the diamond formed at the bodice, take shape. Lastly, the bow at the right shoulder and the parting of the dress over the right leg adds a feminine touch to the sleek design of this dress.

A necklace and pair of earrings crafted from Japanese glass beads, genuine freshwater pearls, and Swarovski crystals is also included as a finishing touch.
